CRY OF A COUNTRY MAN

Oh my beloved mother land
What has become of thee?
Oh my fellow Nigerians
What happened to your Mercy?
Those we entrust power to are incompetent! We were secured and well to do
Even before the Almagamation of the Northern a d Southern Protectorates in 1914.While the civil war lasted; we hope for a re-union. The military era of dictatorship frightened all the citizenry,even though there was an absolute peace and order!Insatiably we fought for democracy.To rephrase,it is a demo crazy!! we the valiant of war!!!The 1999 constitution embedded in us the right to freedom of speech and religion. Unfortunately the revers is the case.We Nigerians are patient and cool headed,but for how long do we suffer in silence? For how long do we watch our brothers slain? Awake oh compatriots! Awake oh great Nigerians!! In times of a Generational Conflict we need to put aside our differences,in one accord to proclaim "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!"
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH to all these wicked vices.Enough to the crises perpetrated by selfishly ambitious tyranny of corrupted politicians. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! How long should we remain unsecured in our own land? Who are the Boko Haram?...Who are the government?We are the government. Constitution stipulate an age requirement to be eligible to contest for Presidency,you must be at is 45 years above.So has it been since 1999.But what good has it done us all these years? Ponder deep dear comrades. Ponder deep.Do not cling upon infringement for fear of the unknown. Let me assert my firm believe that at these point; the only thing we should fear is fear itself which is even more toxic than acid.Change is inevitable; same as death.Stop worrying and take a stand. Constitutions are reversible. I am pregnant in grieve but not afraid. I feel and sympathise with every Nigerian. These was never ever what we intended for.Even the colonial Masters are perplexed over the Current Country's Circumstances.Where do all the armouries and weapons of destruction come from?How in God's Green Earth do they smuggle sophisticated weapons hither and thither? What is the so-called government officials doing about this? Selfish ambition has enraptured our top rated government officials and they no longer have the love of the masses at hearth.They hate the very concept of change: never wanting to give way to the younger generation to exhibit their superb  Potential.Is this insecurity? What then is the essence of the Military and the divers parla-militaries?How possible can a terrorist sect like Boko-Haram kidnap 200 girls overnight? What is the Federal Government doing to negotiate terms for the release of the innocent hostages of Chibok? What is the essence of security while things falls apart!!!
